The finance ministry lowered its projected GDP growth figure for this year from 0.7% (in Oct.) to 0.1%. The approved 2013 budget is based on 1% growth, but the ministry said that the new growth forecast will not require a revision to the budget. Next year, GDP should grow by 1.4%, ministry said. Also, the ministry expects an average rate for the crown of Kč 24.90/euro this year. /BBG consensus of 23 economists’ forecasts expects GDP growth of 0.2% this year and 1.9% in 2014, also revised down compare to previous survey.
