Business Summary: PowerShares Cleantech Portfolio (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield of The Cleantech Index (the Index). The Cleantech Index is an equally weighted index that consists of stocks of publicly-traded cleantech companies and American Depository Receipts (ADR’s) based on such stocks. The Index is designed to identify companies within the cleantech industry possess the greatest capital appreciation potential. The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in securities that comprise the Index and ADRs based on the stocks in the Index. The Fund invests in securities, such as consumer discretionary, health care, industrials, materials, utilities and information technology. The Fund’s investment advisor is Invesco PowerShares Capital Management LLC.
