Business Summary: CNOOC Ltd is an investment holding company principally engaged in exploration, development, production and sale of crude oil and natural gas. Financial Summary: BRIEF: For the six months ended 30 June 2024, CNOOC Ltd revenues increased 18% to RMB226.77B. Net income increased 25% to RMB79.73B. Revenues reflect Exploration and Production segment increase of 20% to RMB188.1B, Oil Equivalent Production (Units/day) increase of 9% to 2M barrels per day. Net income benefited from Exploration Costs decrease of 6% to RMB9.24B, Impairment and provision recognised, net decrease of 99% to RMB2M (expense).
